Аннотация
The article is devoted to the analysis of cognitive and semantic aspects of metaphor. It discusses the applicability of metaphor to cognitive processes, the formation of meanings through frames and scenarios, and its significance in linguistics, psychology, and cognitive sciences. The semantic functions of a metaphor and its interaction with cognitive structures are explained. In addition, metaphor in literary texts is aimed at forming new hypotheses through certain images.
