Efficiency in construction production is a critical factor influencing economic development, yet various challenges hinder its optimization. Despite efforts to modernize the sector, issues such as inadequate project planning, inefficient resource management, financial instability, and technological shortcomings persist. This study examines the key factors affecting efficiency in Uzbekistan’s construction industry, analyzing the impact of design flaws, labor and material shortages, and regulatory constraints. Utilizing a qualitative approach, findings highlight that enhancing project planning, digital integration, and workforce development are essential for improving productivity. The results underscore the necessity for policy reforms and innovation-driven strategies to increase efficiency and sustainability in construction production. Further research should explore advanced technological applications and management models to address these persistent inefficiencies.
