Аннотация

Euphemisms are closely tied to the cultural and social norms of a language community, and what is considered mild or appropriate in one culture may not be so in another. Translators need to deeply understand both the source and target cultures to effectively manage cultural differences and sensitivities. Euphemisms also carry connotations and nuances that go beyond their literal meanings. Additionally, the grammatical structure of euphemisms in the source language may lack direct equivalents in the target language. To preserve the meaning and purpose of a euphemism, structural adjustments are frequently required. This could involve rewording or devising innovative approaches to express the same concept.
