Abstract
this article is devoted to the study of techniques for memorizing German words based on the peculiarities of children's consciousness and a visual-cognitive approach. The article analyzes the stages of cognitive development of Children, ways to improve the efficiency of memorization of words using visual images and associative methods. The study experimentally tested the effects of visual-cognitive techniques on children's success in learning German. The results suggest that methods based on visual representations and narrative associations are more effective than traditional memorization methods. The article recommends using innovative approaches to teaching German for children.
