Abstract
This article discusses the results of biochemical analysis conducted on various peach varieties grown in a collection orchard established in the poor, stony-gravelly soil conditions of the Fergana region. Based on the biochemical indicators that determine the taste and quality of peach fruits, the best varieties identified include the fuzzless peach varieties 'Ifora' and 'White Nectarine`, and the fuzzy peach varieties 'Red Moscow' and 'Elberta'.
