Abstract
The article examines the issues of assessing the quality of social services provided to the population. It is noted that, on the one hand, social services should be implemented within the framework of a standard that can determine the quantity and quality of services and the conditions for receiving them, and on the other hand, the possibility of choosing to receive services in accordance with the amount of financial resources. Proposals are given on the need to provide targeted social services to population groups taking into account their vulnerability.
