Abstract

The integration of drama techniques into English language teaching presents both opportunities and challenges for educators. This article examines the key difficulties teachers encounter when incorporating drama-based methods into their English lessons. These challenges include issues related to classroom management, student engagement, language proficiency, and the adaptation of materials to suit various learning styles. Additionally, the article highlights the benefits of using drama techniques, such as increased student motivation, enhanced language acquisition, and improved communication skills. By addressing these challenges, educators can create a more dynamic and interactive learning environment that fosters language development through creative and engaging activities. The article also provides practical suggestions for overcoming these obstacles and effectively implementing drama in English classrooms.
