Abstract
This article analyzes the role and significance of phraseologisms in the works of Movaraunnakhr linguists. The article discusses how phraseologisms are used in linguistic terminology, the specific features of their structures and meanings, as well as the process of development of phraseologisms in the works of Movaraunnakhr linguists. Issues such as the role of phraseological units in language and culture, the reflection of the national worldview through them, and the change in the approaches of linguists to these units are also considered.
